Traversing wall

The Beacon Centre are busy helping us with our brand new traverse wall this week – it’s an excellent facility for outdoor ed. climbing skills and great for dexterous little fingers! What a great Christmas present!

Casey’s Capers!

Entertainer extraordinaire Casey Jones visited yesterday to give Years 3-6 a fine performance before Christmas, with visits from Elton John, John Lennon and even Elvis – yes, he left the building safe and sound with huge

applause from the children!

URDD CAROL CONCERT

Well done, members of the Urdd for your excellent singing at the Urdd's Carol Concert this Christmas, and many congratulations to parents for their outstanding singing!!! A great evening was enjoyed by all!

POD

The POD is complete –

a special place in school for groups of children to work on projects as part of our personal learning scheme.

Canoeing

Many thanks to Eryl from the Urdd for supporting outdoor education at Rhoscolyn with 6 weeks of indoor pool sessions with Years 5 and 6.

Carols at St Gwenfaen’s

There will be a rehearsal of Away in a Manger for parents and children, Thursday Dec 20^th at 3.10pm for approx. half an hour.

Carol Service - December 23^rd, at 6pm.

Christmas Concerts

Dress rehearsal on Monday – don’t forget your costumes!

Wednesday evening – please could children come to school for 5.30pm, dressed in their costumes. Doors open 5.30pm.

After each performance, all pupils will return to their classes and parents are kindly requested to go to their child’s class to collect them.
