Harvest Festival
St Gwenfaen’s Church were impressed by Miss Owen’s class’ printing work this year, which adorned the pews of the church for their annual Harvest Festival.
The baskets of fruit and vegetables (including our home grown onions) looked stunning too!
Past Pupils Return
The children gave a warm welcome back to Flossy, Katie, Sophie and Alex before half term. It was great to see you looking so well, girls!
art for your walls
With over £300 raised, our Gallery Evening was a great success. Many thanks to all staff, parents and pupils who supported.

Years 5 have their Cycling Proficiency Test next week, good luck everyone – be safe! Years 1 and 2 start their Road Safety Awareness on the 22nd, and our Reception and Nursery Class continue with their cycling lessons. Well done everyone – and many thanks to parents for ensuring that bikes are brought to school.
Canoeing
Years 5 and 6 plan to get wet again with indoor canoeing sessions at the leisure centre, starting this week.
Anti Bullying Week
is launched on the 19th with our very own Bydis Buarth (Yard Buddies). The buddies will ensure that everyone is befriended on the school yard, and a particular garden bench will be installed on the yard so that any child looking for a friend to play with has a place to meet new friends.
Many thanks to the PTA for contributing £200 towards our brand new playtime toys and games. Keep your eyes peeled for new additions!
Healthy Schools Phase 1
Congratulations are due for completing the first phase of the Healthy School Initiative. Our Head Boy and Girl enjoyed receiving the award on behalf of Ysgol Rhoscolyn at Tre-Ysgawen Hall recently.
